A hypothesis has been proposed that the origin of turbulent pulsations in a liquid or gas is connected with the existence
of coherent perturbations of the density on the scale much less than that of the hydrodynamic description. For
such a scenario of laminar-turbulent transition, the collective oscillations of molecules are corresponded to elementary
perturbations or quasiparticles named turbulons. |
