Methods of tactical information transfer used in the army of Ancient Rome are examined. The role of the state
postal service in the process of implementing army communication is analyzed; some examples of the use of coding,
sound and light signals are given. The author concludes that different systems of transfer of confidential data when
used together could provide the Empire with information in full. |
