Modern researchers of creolized texts indicate that the interest in «visual information» has been growing during
the last years. A creolized text is interpreted as a complex textual formation in which verbal and visual elements
constitute a homogeneous whole in structural, semantic and functional aspects, and which is aimed at a complex
influence on recipients. Films are also considered to be creolized texts. This paper gives an overview of some gendered
discourses which are encoded in films. |
