| A study of the semantic spectrum of derivatives with -ost in Russian dialects is presented. In the study, correlation
and specific character of productive stems, semantic-stylistic and chronological descriptions of derivatives are
taken into account. An attempt of classification of derivatives in main lexical-semantic groups is made. We pay special
attention to semantic derivation that contributed to an expansion of derivational semantics of dialectal nouns
with -ost. Main trends of development of derivational semantics of dialectal substantives are revealed in comparison
with similar processes of the literary language. |
