The paper presents an attempt to cover new processes in the Tatar national theatre connected with the interpretation
of the two plays by Chekhov, «The Seagull» and «Three Sisters». The author presents a comprehensive analysis
of producers and scenographic principles that contributed to the creation of extraordinary performances. It is concluded
that the plays by Chekhov have proved to be a certain link between the traditional Tatar theatre and world
tendencies in theatre art. |
