The article studies systemic transformations of communication activity in the modernist era. Masscommunication
activity is considered a significant stage of generation of the communication media system and one
of the factors of human societys civilized development. The author shows the genesis of the communication model
of the press, which drastically changes the basis, principles and mechanisms of communication activity of the medieval
society. As for the evolution of the symbolic model of media reality, the article emphasizes the dual nature of
the process: development of new communication forms and integration of traditional communication principles of
spiritual and cultural exchange of the former societies. |
