Abstract
An adaptive method based on a power series expansion of the weight vector has been proposed for the signal reception from a spatially distributed source using an antenna array. With a high enough efficiency, the method permits to substantially reduce the computational complexity as compared with the one in which the weight vector is chosen as an eigenvector of the signal correlation matrix.
