Main opportunities have been revealed to control rheological and physico-mechanical properties of fillers for restoration of stone monuments prepared on the base of polymethacrylate solutions. The principal factor having an impact on rheological properties of liquid fillers is the solvent «quality» since it promotes the change in conformation of a polymer binder macrocoil and, hence, the structure of a high-filled solution. It has been shown how solvent «quality» affects the adsorption of the polymer onto the filling compound and the surface of the monument being restored and how this permits to control the adhesion strength of the glue line.
