Using common methods (blood pressure measurements, cardiointervalography, etc.), functional activity of circulatory system and vegetative status have been studied in infants having swimming lessons during their first year. Daily swimming lessons during the first year of life improve main hemodynamic features and lead to a physiological balance between the peripheral vascular resistance and the circulating blood volume. |
