Abstract
Some peculiarities have been investigated of acceleration dynamics of an electromagnetically suspended rotor in the range of nonlinear resonances caused by the excitation of sub-harmonic vibrations. It has been shown that the rotor motion parameters in two mutually orthogonal planes may not coincide quantitatively; and when the disbalance of the rotor exceeds some threshold value its vibration level may fall abruptly.
