The authors present the results of their research into the synergetic effect arising in the process of integration of economic systems. It is shown that the achievement of synergetic effect depends on the characteristics of an integrated economic system. It is found that the structure of an integrated economic system determines its entropy. An equation describing the dependence of an economic systems entropy on its economic parameters is obtained. Criteria of entropy values of an integrated economic system for achieving a positive synergetic effect are determined.
