| The author considers the similarity of word and text which are semiotic formations that may be interpreted, have a formal structure, represent an object, an instrument and a result of activity, and carry out a modeling function in regard to activity. A parallel is drawn between the idiomatic quality of the word and the existence of an implied sense and presupposition of the text. The similarity of the methods of linguistic research of word and text is pointed out. |
