A study of the form and structure of Old Belief miscellanies is presented. The study was done on the basis of late 18 century miscellanies from the manuscript collection of the Nizhni Novgorod Regional Research Library. The structure of the studied miscellanies was compared with 8 literary miscellanies dating from 1750 to 1830. The comparison clarifies the structure of the miscellanea consisting of two invariable cycles of Pustozersky and Solovetsky texts. These cycles were widely presented in Old Belief literature, though their history has to be studied yet. Any study of the texts comprising the cycles appears to be incomplete without the study of these cycles history. |
