A possibility to quantitatively describe the mechanism of integral intuitive evaluation of objects characterized by several features is demonstrated by the example of a model of making a decision on buying a product. The model uses the technique of semantic differential [1] whereby it is possible to use scalar product of vectors describing the product's characteristics and to construct a quality-price curve which in case of linear coordinate transformation is identical to the curve describing the well-know Stevens' law [2]. The result obtained is in agreement with the known ideas [3] on the similarity of mechanisms of intuitive thinking and sensual perception. |
