Abstract
The results of experimental investigation have been presented on the effect of metal photomemory (EMPM) for aluminium foil. The main regularities for this most low-melting metal (among other ones investigated with regard to EMPM) have been found to be the same as for other metals. A modified model of the effect based on the existence of two types of acoustic waves in the system of metal - native oxide has been suggested.
