Abstract
A new catalytic system, FeCl3/N,N-dimethylformamide, has been proposed to prepare low molecular weight, narrow polydispersity polystyrene by an alternative atom transfer radical polymerization in the presence of a classical radical initiator, 2,2`-azobisisobutyronitrile.
