Abstract
Numerical modeling of elastic wave propagation in 3D inhomogeneous media typical of mud volcanoes is considered. The numerical modeling is carried out on the basis of the finite-difference method with application of the absorbing boundary method. Parallel languages MPI and OpenMP are proposed to be used for numerical modeling program parallelization. The results of numerical modeling in the form of seismic traces and wave-field snapshots have been presented.
