| A methodology for research of A. P. Chekhov's prose in the framework of existential and phenomenological approach is proposed. Reconstruction of existential moods in Chekhov's prose is made on the basis of philological sources - from the intense emotional experience of the literary text and those existential situations in which the author immerses the reader and researcher. Proceeding from the characteristics of Chekhov's poetics, the author attempts to comprehend the writer's work as a philosophical whole. |
