Abstract
Straight-line-isoclines of quadratic and cubic differential systems are considered. A short review of research results and a proof of Berlinskis theorem on the number of singular points are given. New statements are proven on invariant straight lines and isoclines, the number and directions of straight-line-isoclines, as well as the pattern of singular points in the finite part of the phase plane.
