| The article is focused on the investigation of the pagan cult of horse in Mari culture in the later period of the
cult's development. The author analyzes concrete manifestations of the cult, primarily, horse-slaying as an offering.
The connection between the cult of horse and other pagan cults is considered, the stages of development of some
related concepts are considered. |
