The aim of this article is to analyze the influence of economic interest on the process of sociocultural integration
in a multicultural society.
The authors offer a critical review of the theories treating the processes in a culturally diverse community from
various positions and conclude that economic interest is one of the most significant factors in the integration process,
but taken alone, without certain values-based support, it cannot provide social integration. |
