Abstract
The MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output) communication systems with multi-streaming on eigen subchannels between receive/transmit array antennas are investigated. Only high SNR subchannels have been proposed to be used to increase the throughput. Energy-weak and energy-strong subchannels are separated by the threshold method. An exact analytical expression has been derived for the throughput of the MIMO system with one or two eigen subchannels.
