Abstract
The authors present the procedures and algorithms for an automatic estimation of a decameter radio line passband, optimum operating frequency ranges, signal-to-noise ratio for a radio line 2.6-3.5 Мм long using the experimental data of oblique ionospheric sounding by a LFM signal. An algorithm has been proposed and calculations have been made of a frequency change pattern for the automatic mode of optimum operating frequency selection. Average energy gain has also been calculated for the case when frequency group policy is used. Experimental verification of the developed procedures and algorithms to measure the parameters of decameter radio lines for different seasons of the year and times of the day has been performed.
