The author of this article considers the current classification of the Corinthian pottery with linear decoration (late
7th to 6th centuries BC). The evolution of the term linear during the period between 1930 and 2000 has been briefly
reviewed. About twenty pieces from the collection of the State Hermitage Museum were attributed using the modern
approaches to the pottery of this kind. |
