New data are presented on the study of biochemical properties of Lactobacillus strains and the nature of their interbacterial
interaction. The pattern of saccharolytic properties of lactobacillus and their ability to utilize phosphooligosaccharides
have been revealed. Peculiarities of interbacterial interaction of lactobacilli have been found by cocultivating
them on a dense nutrient medium. A group of microorganisms promising for co-cultivation has been
identified. |
