The analysis of production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and rate of lipid peroxidation in chloroplasts under
the influence of high temperature, exogenous hydrogen peroxide and the herbicide Paraquat have been performed.
Oxidative stress was shown to be the universal reaction of chloroplasts on investigated stressors. However, the features
of the responce were in dependence on the nature and intensity of the influence. It has been suggested that the
increase in the lipid peroxidation rate under extreme effects is determined not only by the rise of ROS production but
also by the ratio О2
.- / Н2О2.
