The analysis of interaction of processes in biological systems is often performed by means of correlation techniques.
The assessment of correlation significance in different applications is case specific and depends on the type
of data analysis and research hypotheses. In this paper, we propose a statistical method using a mathematical model
to determine the reliability of correlation between the activity of astrocytes and glial cells of the brain that directly
influence neuronal activity. |
