Bioelectric potentials of heterotic maize seeds differ from non-heterotic ones by having a higher diffusion component.
Swelling wheat seeds have nonuniform electric properties and may be classified into groups from -9 ? -8 to
+8 ? +9 mV. Seeds with different biopotentials are differently provided with amino acids. The content of an amino
acid increases in the seeds with the increase in the differences of their potentials. It reaches a maximum and then
decreases, obeying the Gaussian curve. |
