| The results of monitoring soil and snow contamination by heavy metals in water protection zones near lakes and
small rivers on the territory of Nizhni Novgorod are reported. The authors cite the data showing the peculiarities of
heavy metals distribution (Pb, Kd, Ni, Cr, Cu, Co, Zn) in the territory being surveyed. The sites of geochemical
anomalies are revealed; soil and snow contamination levels are matched with background values and maximum
permissible concentrations. |
