The main trends are analyzed in the Anglo-American historiography of the second half of the 20th century related
to E. Burkes political activity and work. Scholars regarded him to be a theorist, a practitioner, a Christian philosopher,
a successor of the school of natural rights, a liberal conservative, etc., but none of the concepts can be seen as
the only right one because of the paradoxicality of the thinkers figure. |
