An analysis is presented of the draft Federal Law «On Police» from the point of view of its compliance with the
rules of legislative procedures, including regulatory, structural and language elements. The author considers legal and
technical merits and demerits of the bill offered for public debate on August 8, 2010, including those that emerged
from the meeting in Ulyanovsk on August 25, 2010 conducted by the Plenipotentiary Representative of the RF President
in the Volga Federal District where this bill was discussed.
