| The article is focused on the peculiarities of the functioning and key directions of activities of the largest and most
successful integration body in South America, MERCOSUR, within the framework of the Union of South American
Nations (UNASUR). The authors have concluded that MERCOSUR possesses sufficient potential for becoming the
political and economic centre of UNASUR and consolidating this integration body. |
