The frequency dependences of Kerr and Faraday rotation angles are investigated which correspond to the behavior
of the linear-polarized terahertz radiation-induced conductivity in the two-dimensional electron gas with spin-orbit
coupling subject to high magnetic field and to the periodic electric field of a two-dimensional superlattice. It is found
that the location of maximum rotation angles reflects the energy band structure of magnetic subbands. The discovered
characteristics are important for both fundamental issues and for promising experimental and technological applications
in spintronics and nanophotonics. |
