Abstract
The influence of static and fatigue loading on the acoustic parameters of metal alloys is studied experimentally. An algorithm for estimation of plastic deformation and damage of these alloys using the acoustic data is suggested. The influence of heat treatment (annealing) on acoustic characteristics of alloys with ultrafine grained structure was also investigated to provide control of their structural condition and mechanical characteristics by non-destructive testing.
