Abstract
The effect of grain boundary diffusion acceleration during superplastic deformation of nano- and microcrystalline (NMC) materials produced by severe plastic deformation (SPD) is described. The grain boundary diffusion coefficient for NMC materials at superplastic deformation conditions has been found to depend on the intragrain deformation rate. Numerical calculation results have been compared with experimental data.
