| The article examines some new words in the Bulgarian language with the first part of evro- I 'referring to the
European Union'; 'belonging to Europe', and the evro- II 'referring to the currency of the European Union'. The main
idea is that evro- I is a radixoid (one of the types of affixoids), involved in the formation of the so-called affixoidal
derivative words, and evro- II is a basis of nouns which participates in the formation of compound and derivative
words. |
