| The main tendencies of development of the verbal-nominative descriptive phrases are reflected in the language
of modern press. We consider modal evaluative semantics of utterances due to the syntagmatics of descriptive verbal-
nominative phrases (to give an answer, to carry out an expedition). The internal syntagmatics of descriptive
phrases demonstrates their expressive potential when used in newspaper text. |
