Modern mass media should influence the process of changing the attitudes in the society in the direction from intolerance
to tolerance. In accordance with the standard list of socio-demographic characteristics, researchers distinguish
gender tolerance, along with other kinds of tolerance. When covering gender issues, journalists should abandon
the outdated stereotypes and the use of hate speech, which is a consequence of patriarchal standards. |
