| O. Stones film «Alexander» is a screening of the trilogy by the English writer M. Renault, which is composed
of the novels «Fire from the Heaven», «The Persian Boy» and «The Funeral Games». Significant transformations in
the concept and artistic structure are due to the originality of the authors intention and specific nature of a different
form of art. A comparison of the film with the novels makes it possible to better understand the idea of both authors. |
