Abstract
The authors discuss the problems of improving information technology training of students at specialized musical colleges where electronic digital equipment is used. A model of didactic system for developing general and specific components of IT preparedness of musical college students is described. The results are presented of experimental work on enhancing the level of IT training of students at the Nizhni Novgorod Choral College named after L.K. Sivukhin and the Nizhni Novgorod Musical College named after M.A. Balakirev.
