Using the example of two moving dipoles, the problem of the acoustic emission of a distributed source in an anisotropic
medium has been considered. Analytical expressions for the acoustic pressure as a function of travel speed
and dipole orientation in reference to the speed vector have been obtained; pressure amplitude angular distributions
have been plotted. The medium anisotropy has been shown to affect essentially the acoustic emission characteristics
due to additional phase delays between oscillators. |
