Abstract
Possible ways have been considered to design reflectarrays using nonlinear and parametric scatterers in order to mark different objects. Reflectarray amplitude and spatial characteristics have been described. Two types of reflectarrays made of nonlinear scatterers have been described. It has been shown that reflectarrays made of parametric scatterers can form a stable diagram of nonlinear backscattering providing synchronous response of their elements. Possible synchronization mechanisms have been described.
