Mathematical simulation of heat transfer has been carried out in an inhomogeneous medium in the form of a
homogeneous matrix with cylindrical inclusions separated from it by a contact layer. The influence of the layer
thickness and material on the effective properties of matrix-layer-inclusion system has been studied. Using the
asymptotic homogenization procedure, numerical simulations of temperature distribution have been made for the
medium containing a large number of periodical isolated inclusions with different geometrical and physical characteristics
of inclusions, layers and matrices. |
