The author offers a comparative analysis of public and unofficial political speech. Some speeches of the politicians
in the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation are evaluated in terms of manifestation
of ethical categories of truth and lie in modern political discourse. Transcripts of parliamentary sessions show that
the political theses covered by the media and targeted at a wider audience greatly differ from internal parliamentary
debates. Special attention is paid to the consequences of the slyness in political speeches of the deputies and representatives
of the Government and their influence on the efficiency of the administrative decisions. |
