We explore synonymic relations versus the evolution of human thinking from syncretic concepts of Anglo-Saxons, united on the conceptual ground, to terms of the scientific period. The panchronic analysis of synonymy on the example of the synonymic series pail allows historical modifications of quantitative and qualitative levels to be restored. |
