Abstract
The formation of different types of stationary nonlinear waves in a rod placed in an external magnetic field has been studied. It has been shown that the wave type depends on its propagation velocity and on the value of the ex-ternal magnetic field. Dependences of wave characteristics on the external magnetic field have been found.
