| Maya terracotta figurines of the first millennium A.D. are analyzed as an independent historical source which allows to consider some socio-economic and cultural features in the development of the Mayan civilization. Basic statutory types are identified and an analysis is presented of the features of the Maya worldview, as reflected in the coroplastic objects. |
