The article considers the perception in Russia of some peculiarities of the poetic cycle «Juvenile Poems» (1799-1804) written by the great English poet Thomas Moore. In the process of analysis, attribution of some poems was performed and the traditions of T.Moore's poetic cycle were traced in M.Yu.Lermontov's poem «The Waves and the People», in the novel «Two Ghosts» by F.Fan-Dim (E.V.Kologrivova) and in the parody poem «When the Poet Woes in the Form of Monotonous Singing» by S.A.Andreevsky. |
