A fractographic investigation using scanning electron microscopy techniques has been carried out of the fracture surface of technically pure aluminum destroyed in the magnetic field under creep conditions. It has been shown that in the presence of the magnetic field the relief of the fracture surface being formed (pits in ductile fracture) has smaller average sizes in comparison with the normal conditions of the experiment. |
