Collective dynamics of two ring-coupled phase-locked loops synchronized in anti-phase has been studied. The stability of the anti-phase synchronous regime has been considered, dynamic modes disrupting the synchronous per-formance of the generators have been studied, domains in the parameter space of synchronous mode global and local instabilities (capture and lock ranges) have been defined. The influence of system parameters and links on the en-semble dynamics has been analyzed. The control circuit lagging has been shown to have stabilizing and destabilizing impact on the synchronous mode depending on the link parameters.
